I strongly urge each of you to learn about the fair tax, if you've never heard of it. In short it replaces all federal taxes and payroll taxes with a simple consumption tax.
Recently I asked myself why the same principles could not be applied at the state, county and city levels of government. I see no reason that it could not be done. I'm curious what others might think of this idea. Shouldn't we expect ALL candidates to support the Fair Tax? Why can't we have a Alabama Fair Tax? |
