Regards to http://www.montgomery....

I disagree with the labels Fiscal or Social Conservative applied to anyone. Bobby Bright is not a Conservative.

Fiscal Conservative, Social Liberal = Spends less than a real Liberal, does not support traditional American values.

Social Conservative, Fiscal Liberal = Supports traditional American values, Spends more than a real Conservative.

Real Conservative = Supports traditional American values and spends as little of taxpayer dollars as absolutely necessary on Constitutionally authorized expenditures.

Martha Roby apparently has no position since she is silent.

I'm not certain about Bright, but I know our Rep., Artur Davis plays this game, too. The fact remains that no matter where a person appears to be on the left-right scale, you have to take into account where they are on the authoritarian/libertarian scale. Both are big government guys. That makes them authoritarians, or anti-liberty.

Americans can support their own traditional values, and have done so for a long time without any government interference. Where we mess up is using government as a tool of social change, when WE are supposed to be the social change, if we want it.
